Ever wondered, 'What temperature should I bake my granola?', 'Why does the fruit always burn?', or even just fancied a crack at developing and baking your very own recipe at an award-winning cereal bakery?

In this 3 hour workshop, you'll learn the about the different ingredients and flavour pairings in an intimate, small group setting, whilst planning and making a bespoke granola blend to take home. Our team will guide you through the various ingredients and techniques for baking delicious granola as well as providing a delightful tasting session and refreshments throughout.

You'll finish with approximately 2kg of your very own personalised granola blend, as well as a book full of tips, tricks and ideas. You'll also have the option to surprise a loved one with a fresh bag of your very own, unique granola which we'll send out straight from the bakery. 

This workshop is suitable for all experience levels.

What to expect

What's included?

This 3-hour, hands on workshop provides you with all the tools and skills needed to make your own batch of granola (approx 2kg).

Drawing from their expertise, your host will showcase the artistry and secrets behind crafting the perfect batch of granola, sharing their insights and techniques. You will also have the opportunity to sample Husk & Honey granolas, enabling you to discover your preferred flavours and make well-informed decisions for your granola creation. Choose from our wide array of carefully curated ingredients & add-ins to infuse your granola with a one-of-a-kind touch!

Where are you based?

Come join us in the Husk & Honey granola bakery under the railway arches of Spa Terminus, Bermondsey. Nestled along the London Beer Mile, this corner of London is home to a unique community of like minded traders and artisan producers.

What time does the workshop run?

All of our Saturday workshops run from 11am until 2pm. Please arrive at the Husk & Honey bakery around 5-10 minutes beforehand to ensure a prompt start.

If you find yourself here early, explore the Saturday market or enjoy a coffee at our neighbours Monmouth.

Do I need to bring anything?

We have a little storage at the bakery, but not a huge amount. Please travel light if you can (do let us know in advance if you need to bring any big bags). We'd also advise to bring a tote/reusable bag with you to take your granola home at the end of the workshop.

What should I wear?

We'll provide you with a headband, chef jacket and apron for your class.

Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes (trainers are fine), no high heels, short clean nail beds and you'll need to tie your hair back if long.

If its a warm day, you can wear your own light top under the chef jacket. If its cold, you can layer up or wear a jumper underneath.
